My name is Novella Moffitt, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with, Solaris Counseling Services. I have a Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Psychology from Troy University, and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology from The University of West Florida. I am a National Certified Counselor and am also a Board Certified TeleMental Health Counselor.

I have experience providing mental health counseling to teens, adults, and couples. Issues typically addressed include anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, postpartum depression, transition issues, and identity issues. I have completed Level 3 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

My therapeutic approach integrates multiple theoretical frameworks such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and reality therapy, based on each clients' individually voiced goals in treatment. I have a passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma, intense anxiety, and identity confusion. I strive to develop a therapeutic relationship consisting of trust, compassion, and collaboration in an effort to create an environment in which healing, self-discovery, and growth can occur.
